Bethesda still supports Fallout 4 despite it being released nearly seven years ago. In celebration of Fallout 4’s 25th Anniversary, Bethesda announced that Fallout 4 will receive a “next-gen” update for PC, PS5, Xbox Series and Xbox 360 in 2023.
The update will add a performance mode to allow high frame rates and quality improvements, including 4K resolution gameplay. There will also be additional Creation Club content available for fans.
We are not given an exact date for the upgrade but we have been told it will arrive as free software.
