Square Enix has released Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile, a gacha RPG that takes place within the same universe as the anime series. It tells a lot of the same story with familiar scenes being retold using 3D animation. The relationship is much easier to understand if you think Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross. Ultimately though, you’ll collect characters, assemble a party, and battle through a wide variety of content. It is possible to learn more on the official site.
If you’re a fan of anime gacha RPGs, we’ve got you covered on Gamezebo. You should also check out the Fate/Grand Order and Princess Connect tier lists, as well as Saint Seiya’s Legend of Justice tier lists.

Last check for new characters was November 7.
Tiers Explained
Before we move onto the tier list though, we thought we’d quickly explain what our tiers mean:
- S Tier: These characters are some of the most powerful in the game. You should add them to your group. These characters should be your first choice for leveling up and gaining access to equipment.
- A Tier: These characters are perfect for filling gaps in a party – particularly when you haven’t unlocked enough S tiers, or there aren’t enough S tiers to fill a party in the first place. You should investigate these characters and see which one will counter your party’s weakness.
- B Tier: Characters in this tier can really help during the early phases of the game, when you haven’t unlocked many characters, but they fade later on. These characters can be very useful when you are short on S andA characters. But, swap them out as often as possible.
- C Tier: Only difference between C and C tier is that characters of C tier can sometimes have niche uses. They might be very good at a certain game mode or extremely powerful in the beginning. A late-game party shouldn’t have any though.
- D Tier: We don’t recommend using these characters under any circumstance, unless you absolutely have to because you have nothing else. They perform poorly at all levels and in all game modes.
Below, we’ll rank all of the characters from the heights of S tier to the depths of D tier, including a description of the tiers.
S Tier
These characters are the best and most deserving of a place in your party. These characters are worth performing a Fullmetal Alchemist mobile reroll!
- Mira Armstrong
- Olivia Mira
A Tier
This tier’s characters are still very powerful and are well worth a place in your party. The S-tier characters should be the first to use, while A-tier characters can fill in for them.
- Izumi Curtis
- Lust
- May Chang
- Mustang
B Tier
These characters will carry you through the majority of the game, so don’t sniff at them. Add A tier and S tier characters, and add B tier to your party.
- Basque Grand
- Alex Louis Armstrong
- Envy
- Pride
- Scar
C Tier
This tier is reserved for characters you absolutely must add to your character. C tier is not as powerful, but it’s just as useless as D tier. You can add them if necessary, but you should swap them for other characters as soon possible.
D Tier
This character should be avoided as they are extremely limited in their usage. Although characters from this tier may excel in certain game modes, they are not recommended for your party.

A tier list is a list of characters that you can unlock in a game – particularly a gacha game – ordered from best to worst. You can rank anywhere from S to D tier. S is best and D is worst.
A tier list helps you, the player, identify the best characters you should unlock. This will allow you to save time and money. Once you have a list of the top characters, you can create a party and ignore the rest.
