Mommy’s Best Games, a quirky indie developer, recently revived one its earliest shoot ’em-ups. Game Type DX On Xbox and Switch. 2D shooter that features Hoodie Girl fighting an evil army made up of online ads. It’s quirky and charming. There is also a 2-player local coop. Sony fans will finally be able to participate in the fun. Game Type DX PlayStation 4 will be available on November 17th.
Game Type DX is a horizontally-scrolling shoot ’em up starring Hoodie Girl, the green hoodie-clad heroine who first debuted on the Game Type icon on the Xbox 360 dashboard. Local co-op allows the second player to control a woman wearing a purple hoodie. They must defeat the evil MediaBall’s army, which includes advertisements and other negative things. Game Type DX It is also a looping shooter, meaning that things get harder and faster each time it “loops”. As things become more hectic, players will have to use their Time Pulse ability to slow down time and turn bullets into harmless cash.
