In the last few years, the terms ‘metaverse’, ‘blockchain’, and ‘NFT’ have become buzzwords that bring certain things to mind. However, a game called Artyfact is trying to bring all those concepts together and change people’s perceptions for the better, perhaps.
Artyfact is an open-world, play-to-earn platform built on Unreal Engine 5. It’s based on $ARTY token (a cryptocurrency that was developed on the Binance Smart Chain). If you have not heard of the “play-to-earn” concept, don’t worry, as we hadn’t either. The idea is that players will purchase $ARTY tokens to be used in games, subscriptions and other features of the platform. In this scenario, $ARTY tokens can be traded for money, or used to purchase NFTs which represent in-game items, estates or other collectables. For a sneak peek, check out the Artyfact trailer…
Speaking of playing games, there are four different primary game modes in the Artyfact metaverse that players can choose from to earn $ARTY. Deathmatch is the first, which is a free-for-all standard where the player who has the most kills wins. It’s pretty straightforward, right? Following this is Team Deathmatch, where the other team is the target, and each team has a set of tickets that they are trying to increase to 125 ‘victory points’ by getting kills. Control is another game mode that allows you to capture the flag and Battle Royale where your objective is to be last player standing.
This game is for gamers and crypto enthusiasts. You can learn how to increase your $ARTY, and when you can start playing it. Let us know your thoughts on this Web3 pay to earn game in the comments section. Are you wondering if this is a fad, or the next big thing in gaming and NFT?
