Fortnite Chapter 3 is now officially closed.
Chapter 3 was launched in December last year, and Chapter 4 is now officially announced. It will begin tomorrow, December 4. Chapter 4 will bring with it a brand new map that you can use to explore the world. It will also feature returning favourites and new locations, just like previous chapters. There’s a glimpse of this new map at the end of the Chapter 4 “A New Beginning” trailer, which you can watch below:

The trailer also features new skins, such as Geraltof Rivia from The Witcher series and the Incredible Hulk. You can also see Mr. Beast.
Before all of that, though, players got the chance to experience the Chapter 3 “Fracture” finale event today at 4 p.m. ET (if it was missed, you can’t go back and play it now). We saw bits and pieces of the battle island scattered across stars, as it essentially collapsed.
The task was to collect zero-point fragments that were scattered around a small area of the map. Players were given more pieces to add to the playable area the more they collected. You could also complete quests like throwing snowballs at your enemies or sending them off into space as beach balls. Races and match island props are also possible. You were awarded a zero-point fragment for every task you completed. The Chapter 4 trailer started after approximately 30-40 minutes. It showed what looked like the creation of Chapter 4, with zero points dragging in pieces from space.

Fortnite Chapter 4 officially starts tomorrow, December 4th. However, a start date has yet to be revealed.
