Fortnite’s mending machine feature has been around for a while, but there are only three remaining on the Asteria Map.
The first few weeks of Fortnite Chapter 4 are going to be quite overwhelming, as everyone gets up to speed with what’s new and starts digging through the battle pass – to unlock skins like Geralt of Rivia, among other popular characters.
If you find yourself in a tough situation, it’s always worth visiting one of the mending machines in Fortnite as, it’ll give you quick access to healing items, if you have enough gold bars.
Mending machines hold bandages, medkits, shield potions, and even a patch-up feature if you’ve got 100 golden bars to spare.
The shield potion is the costliest item, as you’ll have to spend 120 gold bars, though you can always go for its smaller version which only does half the mending.
Bandages, which are priced at 10 gold bar, are the most affordable item that you can buy at a mending station. Next, medkits, and small shield potions, are priced at 25 gold bars and 30 gold bars respectively.
In previous seasons of Fortnite, you could find much more of these healing stations scattered throughout the island, but there are now only three confirmed mending machines on Asteria.
These are the Mending Machines from Fortnite Season 4 Episode 1:
- Outside the Hitches and Ditches gas station west of Faulty Splits
- Outside the gas station at Slap ‘N Go north of the Faulty Splits
- Slappy shores, outside the gas station
There are four types of Fortnite vending machines. They offer all kinds of goodies at the right price.
These are mending machines (healing items), weapon-o-matic (weapons), malfunctioning (random), and Dragon Ball (Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud).
However, it’s still not confirmed whether the rest of the vending machines will make an appearance on the island this season.
One of the new dirt bikes has been added to Asteria. If you wish, you can bring one of your friends along.
