Welcome to VG247’s Best Games ever Podcast. Episode 29 – The best game that you can do little.
Because I love to sit doing nothing, this topic is very dear to my heart. This week, I didn’t bother to write a detailed podcast description. This is enough. Bliss. I will have a mince pies later, after a long, productive morning. Tom, you don’t have to sack me. I’m just being thematically consistent.
Here’s Chris Bratt looking unproductive. We haven’t tried to photoshop it into something that fits the podcast topic. (Support friends at VG247, People Make Games on Patreon.
Cast: Tom Orry (Alex Donaldson), Kelsey Raynor, Jim Trinca.
These are our picks for this week (SPOILERS Ahead)
Tom – Vampire Survivors
Tom played this for ten minute and soon decided on the topic for this week. Coincidence or corruption? The Game Awards announced a mobile version last night. Check out the trailer below. These are actually very timely, Tom!
Alex – Dive Kick
This was Alex’s first Snapchat filter. I double-checked that it was Alex and not Connor.
Kelsey – Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Perhaps the most culturally associated game with doing nothing is probably this one, since it was created when half of society was shut down and many people had to stay at home. It was hard times. It’s over now, and the pandemic is almost gone. Right? Right? Oh.
Please do let us know what you think of the show – and if this is your first time listening, do go back to listen to the previous episodes. If you’ve got suggestions for topics, send them our way so we can avoid these sorts of disasters in future.
“What is VG247’s Best Games Ever Podcast?” you ask? It is basically a 30-minute panel show in which people (Jim Trinca, associates) choose the best game within a particular category. That’s it. It’s good. It’s good.
Come back in a week for another exciting instalment of VG247’s Best Games Ever Podcast.
