New Delhi: Amazon India launched Prime Gaming, a subscription-based gaming service. Prime Gaming offers members unlimited access to many popular titles. The company began testing the service on the South Asian market weeks ago. Amazon Prime and Video subscribers will have access to the free gaming service. It offers a wide range of games on mobile, PC and Mac with in-game loot.
Every month, the ecommerce group adds new titles to the service.
According to the report, Indian gamers have access to the following free games and loot box: League of Legends and DeathLoop.
Amazon unveiled a new, anime-inspired massively multiplayer online game (MMO) titled Blue Protocol at The Game Awards. The game is set to launch in 2012’s second half.
Bandai Namco developed the game and it will be released on the PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, according to The Verge.
The game can be described as a multiplayer action game role-playing (RPG), which allows players the freedom to play different roles, and either enjoy the story or multiplayer modes.
You can sign up with your Amazon Prime ID to access the Prime Gaming website. Activate Prime Gaming You will find the option in the upper right corner. Your Prime membership includes access to Amazon Prime shopping and Prime Video usage. The plans are priced at Rs. 179 per month, Rs. 459 for three-months and Rs. 1,499 for one year.
Amazon’s Prime Gaming will compete with Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass and Sony’s PlayStation Plus subscriptions. All of these services offer a selection of games at no cost to subscribers, which is updated monthly.
