Part 1 of The Last of Us Firefly Edition finally has a European release. You can now pre-order it through PlayStation Direct. The edition won’t ship until a little way into the new year and cannot be purchased anywhere else, although whether this deters scalpers remains to be seen.
When will The Last of Us Part 1 Firefly Edition release in Europe?
The Last of Us Part 1 Firefly Edition will be released in Europe on January 26, 2023 and players can pre-order the edition for £99.99 (or regional equivalent) through PlayStation Direct.
The Europe edition does not include a disc like the Firefly Edition North America. Instead, the game is provided as a single-use voucher for the PlayStation Store. Bizarrely, the limited-edition SteelBook is still included, as is The Last of Us: American Dreams Comics #1 – #4 with new cover art. These in-game items will also have unlock codes:

Although pre-orders were delayed beyond the restocking of the Firefly Edition North America, players will hope the delay deters eBay scalpers, who had difficulty shifting their copies back in June. Sony should have learned from the problems that plagued the first batch Firefly Editions, which arrived damaged.
