What’s A Best Heroes List?
A list of the top heroes is one that includes the best of the best. Imagine the top of a Tier list. They are made so you can identify which characters you should aim to collect and how to weed out the less desirable characters.
How did we select our Top War Best Heroes?
It’s great having the end result, but it’s always helpful to know how we got here. How did we get there?
We both play with the characters (if they are unlocked) and also do theory-craft, which is based on raw statistics and skill descriptions. That’s why you’ll see our tier list change so much when a game first launches, as we’re in the testing phase.
It’s also worth noting that we do scour communities, like Reddit, for community feedback. We will list a tier if there is consensus that a particular character is strong or weak. That way, it’s got a certain degree of objectivity.
We’ll wrap this section up by reminding you that tier lists are subjective by nature. We are not guaranteed to have the same experience as you, so please take it with a pinch.
When should we update our Best Heroes list?
Everytime a new hero is added to the game, we’ll have a think over and re-consider our best heroes list. If the new hero deserves to be on this list, then that’s when we’ll update it! We’ll also carry out a similar process for characters that have been re-balanced, as we see it happen all the time when new metas arise.
