Fortnite v23.20 update brings new weapon, shield, and more

The Fortnite Team has announced quite a few items, weapons, shields, and bug fixes that came with the latest v23.20 update, including the Falcon Scout. 5

The Falcon Scout item works like a drone. However, it can mark targets within a radius using Caw. Your teammates and you can even ping an area of the map to make your run. The drone can be controlled by players. Players’ field of vision will shift to the side of the Falcon. Although this is great for controlling the drone, it can also mean that your character will be completely defenseless while flying around and selecting a spot. If something does go wrong, ensure you have someone nearby to help you. 

The Scout also includes the Shockwave Hammer melee weapon. The Shockwave Hammer is a melee weapon that does some serious damage to enemies. It also has a very cool ability. You can charge up the Slam Attack, which can be used by you, another player, or a team to launch enemies a long distance. The fire button can be used while in midair. According to the developers, players can think of it like a combination of the Shockwave Grenade or a hammer. 

There were also a few bug fixes, and some extra items, as you would expect from a good update. One of the bigger fixes was the placing of the Skydome device, which gave quite a few players some issues. A new Ball Spawner, Reboot Van Spawner, and the Guardian Sheild have been added.
