South Asian Showcase
What: Enjoy a private evening with music and Indian cuisine from Nepal, Bhutan, India. Ghana and Nirmala Sharma will prepare authentic Nepali cuisine. Traditional Nepalese, Hindi and other dances will be performed by students from the area. Shabin Subba will also perform. You can listen to the Folk, Sacred and Classical Music of Nepal and Bhutan performed by theHimalaya Heritage Performing Arts: Harimaya Adhikari and Prem Sagar Khatiwada.

What: What happens when you mix a Congressman with two mad scientists and an jazz drummer? The Blue Buddha Band! Paul Hodes, a former Congressman who plays guitar, leads The Blue Buddha Band. It features bassist Jon Gabay and Dean Rubine on keyboards, as well as Ed Raczka, the first New England drummer.
