HBO's The Last of Us is getting a second season.
HBO announced that nearly three weeks after the premier of the first episode, it had made the following announcement: The Last of Us Season 2 will be back. Season 1 has been widely viewed by viewers and critics alike as a success. News of a second season isn’t surprising because The Last of Us’ The premiere was the second most successful HBO Original series debut since 2010, and the second episode had the highest audience increase between a first episode and a second episode for HBO Original drama series in HBO’s history.

As for what to expect in Season 2, that remains unknown, but considering Season 1 is covering all of The Last of Us Part I, it’s likely that the second season will cover at least part of The Last of Us Part II, if not all of it. Season 2’s release date has yet to be announced.
Episode 3 of HBO’s The Last of Us This Sunday’s broadcast will be on air and will feature Bill (played by Nick Offerman).
