Remedy Entertainment revealed its new company logo. Fans of R will be delighted.
It’s been 20 years since Remedy updated its logo, but above is the image that will appear on the studio’s projects going forward. This includes Alan Wake II and a Control sequel that has yet to be revealed, as well as a Control multi-player title and remakes for Max Payne 1 & 2. This logo is a bit different from the previous one, which was just a letter R. It’s a little hard to look at and hurts your eyes.
Remedy explains the simple reason for its update in a blog:
“The bullet in the letter R in the old logo represented the era of Max Payne, but the Remedy of now is much bigger than a single game; we have a whole portfolio of games, new and old.
It was time to update and redefine our visual identity to bring more consistency, showcase our evolution over the years, and better express our vision of today’s Remedy.”
That’s all there is to it. What do you think of Remedy’s new logo? Comment below.
