Redfall, Arkane’s first-person vampire-hunting shooter, is finally coming soon after a long delay. Arkane Austin, the studio behind 2017’s scifi shooter Prey has developed a new game with a large open world, four-player cooperative gameplay, and redesigned graphics. Does it come to Sony’s subscription-based service, PlayStation Plus? Here’s everything we know.
Redfall is set in a small Massachusetts city overrun by vampires and cultists. A permanent eclipse casts an eerie shadow over Redfall, and it’s up to Layla, Jacob Devinder, and Remi, to rid the town of vampiric invaders.

Prima Games has confirmed that Redfall will not be coming to PlayStation Plus or PlayStation in general. Redfall will never be released on PlayStation, due to new exclusivity rules imposed by Microsoft following its acquisition of Arkane’s parent company Bethesda.
This may disappoint PlayStation users, but the game is available for Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Players on these platforms can also party up using cross-play functionality. However, only the host will save campaign progress.
The game is only available online, and this applies to consoles as well.
