Redfall requires 94.3 GB on PC. Xbox Series X users will need 77.31 GB. Xbox Series S, which is designed for less powerful hardware, requires only 40.37GB.
Redfall’s large file size could make you doubt if the game is worth it. Redfall’s hands-on preview is mostly positive. It praises “the supernatural atmosphere” and “creative twists” as well as “how it blends the familiar format of its Arkane flair with an open world.”
Despite generally positive previews, there has been a fair bit of controversy around the fact that Redfall is launching without a performance mode, capping the game at just 30 FPS on Xbox Series X. The 60 FPS performance will be available “at a future date”, but for now, we are stuck with the quality mode. It’s a major deal-breaker for others, but everyone has different opinions.
