The skateboarding simulation SkateBIRD where you play as bird on a deck of tech will be available on PlayStation in June. It comes with a free update for all platforms.
SkateBIRD is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in 2023. SkateBIRD’s other platforms, including the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC via Steam Itch.io Amazon Luna, will receive a new update on June 1, 2023.
In this skateboarding simulation, you will be able to become the legendary bird-skater Anthony Hawk. You can flip your deck and enjoy some of history’s most beautiful maps. Anthony Hawk has been away from a while, but that won’t stop him from making cool flips and wowing other birds with his peacocking tricks. Take on the flock as Anthony Hawk and help him get back to the top.
With Anthony Hawk’s return, aspiring young hatchlings follow his lead. Capture the best moments of Anthony Hawk’s flips with the new Selfie-Stick camera mode. Selfie Stick mode gives players full control of their photos.
Anthony Hawk is able to fill the FANCY Meter quickly by combining grinds, flip tricks and tailslides. You can complete missions, land massive 720-degree twists, and rack up combos while reaching for the sky with endless combo possibilities.
Players can also make use of SkateBIRD’s varied customization options. Set the sesh vibes with enough options to accommodate any tiny bird’s desire. You can swap headgear and bird types and colours, as well as your old glasses, to get the best combo. Get groovy to the official four track SkateBIRD EP, a new mini-album available now on Bandcamp, Spotify, and iTunes.
“After winning a Game of the Year in the category of music with NintendoForce, we’re stoked to be making SkateBIRD accessible to an entirely new community of PlayStation users,” says Glass Bottom Games Founder Megan Fox. “As well, we are continuing the pursuit of flight by bringing a plethora of new content to our established band of birds on other platforms.”
