Even though the well-deserved Sony has no plans to slow down despite the negative reaction it received for its latest PC port.

We’re hoping that the outcome of The Last of Us Part 1 will at least cause Sony to reevaluate its approach for similar projects in the future.
Sony has confirmed in its latest earnings report that it will “continue rolling out catalogue titles for PC.” It didn’t specify when or which titles would be coming.
Here’s the complete list of all the PlayStation Studios PC ports that have been released:
- Horizon Zero Dawn
- Days Gone
- God of War
- Marvel’s Spider-Man
- Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection
- Sackboy: A Big Adventure
- Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales
- Returns
- The Last of Us Part 1.
Sony has increased its numbers each year. Sony released five PC versions of its top-selling games in 2022. In this year alone, we are already at two titles and we are not even halfway through. Sony is not to blame if, in the wake of The Last of Us Part 1, it decides that PC ports will be a slower process. We’re confident it won’t overload Nixxes Software, and that it will never outsource the planned ports to Iron Galaxy.
Fingers crossed, we’ll get at least one more PC port later this year and we’re hoping that it’s Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
Nixxes Software has been seen recently hiring people to help them port a PS5 exclusive game to PC. The game relies heavily upon the proprietary SSD of the flagship console. If this is successful, we may see the PC as the first platform to list an SSD requirement.
Ghost of Tsushima is another game that has been speculated to be ported to PC, but Sony still hasn’t confirmed it. The only hint was a change in the box art two years ago.
Sony’s next PC port can be announced at the PlayStation Showcase, which is reportedly planned for this month.
We’ll be honest. We’d like to see Bloodborne, and Ghost of Tsushima, come first to PC. The PC modding community will be a huge help to these two games. The Last of Us Part 1 was “saved” by fan-created mods despite its disastrous release. This gave gamers a reason for enduring the crashes, if only to see what mods were available. Bloodborne as well as Ghost of Tsushima may look and feel better with mods.
Bloodborne, Ghost of Tsushima and other PlayStation 4 games have probably reached their peak sales. If there is a good time to bring these games to PC, now’s the time.
The only information we have about a Bloodborne port for PC is the numerous rumors that say it’s being developed. On the other hand, Ghost of Tsushima was included in the infamous Nvidia GeForce Now leak, as was Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Gran Turismo 7, Demon’s Souls, Horizon Forbidden West, and Helldivers 2. Bloodborne could be ported to PC, but the fans are more interested in seeing a PS5 patch before that.
All of this is speculation. Sony must be pleased with the return on its latest investment.
Talking of payoffs: the PlayStation 5 has just posted the highest-selling Q1 figures in console history. It’s on track to sell as much as the PS4 at the end of the day.
