Summer Game Fest was founded by Geoff Keighley in 2020, the producer of Game Awards. Since then it has been the source of some of the biggest announcements and reveals in the gaming industry.
With E3 2023 being officially canceled after multiple key publishers dropped out, this year’s Summer Game Fest has even more eyes on it than usual, as the teams prepare for the live showcase on June 8 (with its first ever in-person audience) followed by the Days of Play press event on June 9 and 10. Keighley announced today the list of official participants for Summer Game Fest. Both PlayStation and Xbox are participating alongside AAA publishers EA Ubisoft Activision SEGA. Devolver Digital and Annapurna Interactive will also be making an appearance. Bandai Namco Capcom Square Enix, SEGA, EA, Ubisoft and others are included in the list.
