Persona 6 by ATLUS is still a mystery. However, it appears that we won’t have to wait long to find out more and to be able play it.
Nate the Hate – who has proven to be incredibly reliable in the previous – discussed the upcoming PlayStation Showcase with Modern Vintage Games, making predictions as to what could be shown in just two days. Persona 6 will not be included in the Showcase of third-party games. The game is still in development, and will be released in 2024, as a PlayStation 5 timed exclusive. This is a bold move by ATLUS/SEGA given the PlayStation 4 installed base.
The new video also discusses the rumored Persona 3 Remake. The game will likely be showcased at the Xbox Showcase in November and released later this year. Persona 5 will also be released in 2024. No one knows when the game will be revealed, but it could happen later this year at the Tokyo Game Show.
We know very little about the Persona project. Persona 3 remake development is said to have advanced quite a bit, which would be expected if the game releases later this summer. This remake will have visuals similar to Persona 5 as well as a number of improvements in quality of life that will enhance the overall experience. The remake will not include all the content from the original and Portable versions, since it may not have The Answer or the female protagonist.
