Epic claims that the primary reason for closing these online services was to shift towards “solely support”.[ing] Epic Online Services” offer benefits such as a unified friends system, voice chat, parental controls, and built-in voicechat. Epic Online Services makes it much easier to manage everything from one central location.

These are just a few of the things you should keep in mind. First, Rock Band 4 Online features will be available, so you can still buy songs for that particular game.
