When Medieval Dynasty It was part of the Xbox Game Pass October 2022 lineup. While it disappointed some with its 30FPS performance (alongside a few other issues), the latest update to the game has made significant improvements. The new performance option now allows for 60FPS.
The new performance mode, Medieval Dynasty Patch.1.4, runs at 1440p (dynamic resolution), 60fps Xbox Series X: 1080p (also dynamic, res), 60fps Xbox Series S.
S-specific improvements included in the patch.|S specific improvements added as part of the patch:
- Performance mode settings (In “Graphics”) section of settings
- Separate settings for XSX Game Pass & PC Game Pass (should help with launch problems)
- Fixed: Sprint and crouch set to hold are now available instead of toggle.
- Fixed: FPS drops while walking with a torch. (XSS)
The Medieval Dynasty Patch 1.1.4 also has some new features, such as an upgrade to the way you place roads and fences, the ability for something to be struck in mid-air and many other fixes and updates.
The development team confirmed that they are looking into the issue regarding Medieval Dynasty’s small text size, but cannot promise anything. Keep your fingers crossed that the problem is fixed quickly!
