Yesterday’s Silent Hill Transmission saw Konami reveal the Silent Hill 2 Remake. New Silent Hill games there are many merchandise, including a movie and a lot more. However, it seems like they’re not finished there. During the stream, Konami Producer Motoi Okamoto revealed there will be more games on the way as they partner with other “equally talented” developers.
Four new Silent Hill games aren’t enough
The Transmission features games created in collaboration with other developers. Silent Hill 2 Remake is in Bloober Team’s hands, Silent Hill Townfall is under the control of Annapurna Interactive, No Code Studios and Silent Hill F is being created by NeoBards Entertainment. Genvid Entertainment, Bad Robot Games Entertainment, Behaviour and DJ2 Entertainment are developing Silent Hill: Ascension, a real-time interactive series. However, more games are in the works, and more developers will be added to the mix. When asked if there will be any more partners besides those already revealed, Okamoto replied: “I can’t say yet, but we plan to expand our partnerships in the future with equally talented teams.”
Silent Hill: Silent Hill The Short Message is one of the new Silent Hill titles. Recently rated in Korea, the game was conspicuously absent from yesterday’s Transmission. Insiders claim that the teaser demo is similar to P.T. Lance McDonald According to some, the leak has exposed around an hour worth of footage and could explain its disappearance. It will be interesting to see if the demo/game becomes a reality.
