A recent poster collection shows their love. This PlayStation-centric artwork is fascinating in that it draws inspiration from cassette tapes. The pieces created by the artist are breathtaking.
Many PlayStation posters have been shared over the years by fans. Many gamers have created entire posters based on particular franchises or entire games generations. Others have created alternate cover artwork for their favorite PlayStation titles. A recent collection of pieces from Reddit user PA-01 is a fun combination of both concepts, as the fan’s posters imagine cover art for cassette tapes based on three beloved IPs.
The artist’s first poster is here God of War It is fitting that it be included in 2018, given the release of its sequel. God of War Ragnarok. The poster shows Kratos and Atreus in a boat. A red hue is added to the image to make it stand out. The same color scheme is used for the PlayStation and Sony logos. However, the lettering on cassette art is black. The Last of Us One of the cassette posters was sent to me. It is a fitting timing, considering the PS5 remake’s recent release. This image features Joel in a green photo, while he is surrounded by vines and spores. Part 2 of The Last of Us The poster features an orange theme and is the representation of Ellie. Ellie is seen in Santa Barbara in the image. It was taken during the final hours of game. She looks intimidating because of the way the frame is constructed.
This is the final game that one of these posters depicts. Horizon Zero DawnInstead of Aloy being the main focus, as one might expect, a Tallneck can be seen roaming the post-apocalyptic landscape. You can also see the flame-haired protagonist watching the magnificent beast move. With a QR code present alongside the Guerrilla Games logo and a tiny description of the game, there is a ton to appreciate about the artist’s distinct format.
