Fans of the franchise will be delighted to learn that Shiny overworld Pokemon will feature in Scarlet & Violet.
Shiny Pokemon fans still find it thrilling to catch one. Shiny Pokemon were introduced in Generation 2 games Gold and Silver. Fans have been obsessed with finding these alternative sprites.
Shiny Pokemon Violet and Scarlet will remain as mysterious as ever. But, players should find it much easier to get their hands on this desirable feature.
Pokemon fan site Serebii were lucky enough to play the game early and their preview suggests that Scarlet & Violet succeed in being “the most ambitious Pokemon game.”
Some new features will probably remain hidden until the November 18 launch of both games, but Serebii revealed a crucial detail about Shiny Pokemon.
Serebii confirmed that Pokemon Scarlet & Violet will feature Shiny Pokemon in the overworld: “Continuing on from Let’s Go and Legends: Arceus, Shiny Pokémon are fully visible on the overworld, which is a marked improvement over Sword & Shield.”
Serebii spotted a shiny Skiddo as they climbed up a cliffside during their preview of Scarlet and Violet. Before engaging in battle, the trainer noticed that the Pokemon was shiny and spotted it in the overworld.
This is fantastic news for casual players whose hearts will surely skip a beat when a Shiny Pokemon appears in the Scarlet & Violet overworld. This will also be welcomed news by the dedicated community of shiny hunters.
These players won’t have to go out into the wild and fight for shinies. This will make them much more efficient, and save them many hours.
