One student from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology (also known as South Dakota Mines) has turned his entire campus into a museum. Minecraft. This project is communal, so students can add details like interiors to the already impressive undertaking.
According to a press release Jaxxen Cheney is a computer engineering student who has been playing Minecraft Since he was a child, he used Google Earth to help him build the campus of the university. He also built interiors that are scaled. Cheney’s accomplishments are jaw-dropping.
Cheney already has a great idea for a use of his project. He wants to help new South Dakota Mines students get to grips with the campus. Although he admits to getting lost when he first joined, he now feels that he is much more comfortable with his surroundings. Minecraft The campus could be a wonderful tool for freshmen to get to know their new surroundings before they arrive.
Cheney states that other students have started to contribute their own details and information to this collaborative project. This includes more detailed interiors and adding details to Museum of Geology. The Minecraft Cheney stated that the campus will be “always open for users to update the build and collaborate on it”.
