- You may need to repeat some letters in the solution.
There is no time pressure, other than making sure it is done by midnight. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t treat the game as a casual crossword puzzle. You can always come back later if you get stuck.

Each day Wordle will present you six rows with five boxes. You can then choose which five-letter word is hidden inside each of them.
You will want to Start with a strong word (opens new tab) like ALERT—something containing multiple vowels, common consonants, and no repeat letters. The boxes will tell you which letters are correct or incorrect when you hit Enter. If a box turns ⬛️, it means that letter isn’t in the secret word at all. 🟨 The letter is in the word, but not at that position. 🟩 This means you have the right letter in the correct spot.
Your second go should compliment the first. You will use another “good word” to cover common letters that you missed last time. However, you must avoid any letter that you know for certain is not present in today’s response.
Then it’s a matter of applying what you know to narrow down your choices to the correct word. You can make six attempts and only use real words. Remember that letters can be repeated too (ex. BOOKS).
