Warzone 2.0 is Activision’s latest Battle Royale title and is scheduled to release on November 16 along with Season 1 for both Modern Warfare 2 and the Battle Royale. It will be released in sequel form to the game that became a hugely popular and supported by a large community.
Modern Warfare 2 fulfilled its promise and allowed players to enjoy a stunning campaign mode, as well as some of the best combat and movement mechanics in the game.
The Warzone 1 game was not only large but very power-hungry. It could consume a lot from the system’s resource pool. Fans can expect similar game sizes for Warzone 2.0, which will be available on all platforms.

Developers are striving to offer the highest level of immersion possible to their player base. They introduce visuals that are difficult to distinguish from real life and other features which function and have consequences of their own. The exact size of Warzone 2 has not been confirmed by official announcements, either regarding the download size or its installation.
Warzone used more than 100GB of space to complete its installation. It requires a lot of files to function properly and many other files that make up the entire game. All of these files take up a lot of space on any platform.
Warzone 2.0 is expected to be around 115GB in size when downloaded from the PlayStation 5. While being downloaded on the PlayStation 5, Warzone 2.0 is expected to be approximately the same size.
Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 will share a platform that allows them to share multiple features, with the Battle Pass as well as the weapon configuration system. The developers have embedded this new feature in the platform. Players will be able to cross-progress between all games and share the spoils.
Cross-progression is also a way for titles to share common game files which link them together. This could reduce its overall size.
But, it could also happen in the reverse. Files will flood local game files to keep all titles connected to a common platform. That will in turn increase size of the Battle Royale.
Important to remember that publishers have not yet officially revealed any data. Therefore, it is impossible for them to confirm. Fans can expect to receive additional information on the size of the downloaded and installed game closer to release.
