The Demo of Wo Long Fallen Dynasty is Now Available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

You can earn a reward for completing the demo.

Koei Tecmo has made a demo of Wo Long Fallen Dynasty Available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.

If you complete the demo, the Crouching Dragon Helmet will be earned. This can then be used in the final game. The demo will be available until September 25, 2022.

It isn’t clear why no such demo has been released for Steam, but it may simply be the case that Koei Tecmo is looking for feedback just for consoles. It’s also possible that the studio is busy making it playable on the Steam Deck. The studio did reveal that they were working on this demo last month.

Koei already has some media parts of the game so we know what to expect when you load the demo.

Character customization allows you to modify the look and feel of your character. It also lets you choose which phase you will be playing. Each Phase is based upon a different element. They also represent different gameplay styles. Each phase also has its own Divine Beast.

• Metal Phase is focused on debuffing your enemies. The Baihu, a white Tiger, is the Divine Beast of this creature and will fight with you for a short time.
• Wood Phase is all about support and recovery. The Qinglong, an azure-dragon, is the Divine Beast and can heal you and your friends.
• Water Phase is all about stealth. Its Divine Beast is the Xuanwu. This black turtle launches ice projectiles from a fixed position.
• The Fire Phase is a barbarian-like phase that is geared towards attack. The Zhuque, a red-phoenix Divine Beast, can set off a fire around you.
• The Earth Phase, which is defense-oriented, is last. The Qilin, its Divine Beast, summons stone-pillars. Although the Qilin doesn’t have an analog in Western mythology it is the same creature that can be seen on the label of Kirin beer.

As you play, your Level Up is achieved by increasing the amount you spend on each Phase. Consequently, this affects each Phase’s corresponding stat. A higher level of Water can increase your stealth rating.

For Wo LongThe Nioh Ki System has been replaced by a Spirit System. When you attack, you earn Spirit. If it goes negative, you get stunned. You can also earn Morale Rank, which is your leveling up system. Your rank is determined by how many enemies you kill and how much damage they do to you. You can start from Rank 1 if you die.

Your normal attacks can be replaced by Spirit. Spirit attacks are a way to drain your earned Spirit. Spirit can also be consumed to perform magic spells, wizardry spells, or martial arts.

There are two options: dodge or deflect. Each option has its own effects. To deflect you need to press the button just before the enemy’s attack. This will increase your spirit and allow you to use Deflect Critical Blows. Although it is easier to dodging with two buttons, this will still consume Spirit.

Wo Long Fallen Dynasty Early 2023 will see the release of the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X consoles, as well as Steam and Xbox Series S consoles.
